INTERESTING SITE OF THE MONTH
Great Facts This site has massive amounts of trivia. There are also brain games. Enjoy!
Old SuperstitionsThis site lists old superstitions and sayings that you may have heard from older people. Should you believe all the things there? Probably not, but they are funny to read.
A Google A Day This is a site where there is a puzzle question posted everyday at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time. Having trouble? They will give you hints. This might help you hone your logical thinking when doing a search. I really liked the timer that showed how quickly I found the answer. Now if my home computer would have moved a little quicker.....
African American History Use this site to find out about the Tuskegee Airmen, famous black women, and you can even see exhibits from the Library of Congress. Good for reports!
http://sciencefriday.com This is the website that will finally make you think that science is cool. Science Friday is a radio show on National Public Radio that comes on -- are you ready? -- early Friday afternoon. On this companion site there are always interesting videos and little articles about what's going on in the world of science. Don't miss the video titled "Where's the Octopus?" Also, the radio show is pretty interesting --Friday at 1:00 p.m. on 91.7.
